Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation invited by Santiam Christian School to present its Kids Firearm Safety Education class for the Corvallis community.

Wednesday, May 3, 2017

Eugene OR, May 03, 2017 — Santiam Christian School invited Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation to present its Kids Firearm Safety Education class. Having successfully presented the program to the Jefferson OR community in April, this course introduces open, honest dialog between children and parents to protect families and prevent senseless tragedies through education.

“Guns are everywhere in our society, so we want kids to learn what not to do,” said founder and chief instructor, Derek LeBlanc, in a recent presentation. “We’re spreading the word to promote our mission of ‘ZERO Firearm Accidents is the Only Acceptable Goal!’”

Along with individual and corporate sponsors, partnerships with schools help ensure no child will ever be turned away from participating. Course content links knowledge of firearm safety with accident prevention.

This class will be presented on May 22, 2017, in the Santiam Christian School Gym from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. Children (5 years and up) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. To register for this or any Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation class, visit
