A truly special night. One thing that you will always get from me is the truth. I will always speak from my heart. At times it is painful. Lately I have been suffering in silence. Trying everything in my power to get our very important message out. We are being censored like many of you. The difference is that our silence across social media hasn’t many been on our choice or on purpose. The tech giants have picked winners and it hasn’t been us. It has lead to classes being cancelled. Tonight I was trying to brace myself for another cancelled class. All I want to do is what we do. Lately it has averaged 50-60 hours a week just to spend one hour in front of them.
.
I was down, I was in my head. Do I quit? Did I come as far as I could? Did I do everything I could have?
.
At the darkest point, I heard little steps. I looked up and saw a smiling face looking up at me from the stairs. It was my friend. A wave of emotion came over me. Mom was right there and they were there for class. She didn’t sign up because she wanted to surprise me. It really saved my night.
.
My friend, which his older brother is one of our original ambassadors, said he wants to learn to shoot a BB gun. Mom says he has to take a class first. I said well we better get to it then. I was so choked up the words wouldn’t come out at first. Mostly out of pride on how much this young man has grown and how lucky I have been to have met this family and watched both of their boys grow up. This family has been so instrumental in the development and growth of what we do. It was really fun to be able to teach the younger brother our latest version of the program and to show mom how far that we have come. This is the journey though, not the destination. We will figure out how to break through big tech to get back to where we once were. If you believe in what we do we NEED you! Your interaction is the fuel that will help us reach others. A like, a comment, and a share. It doesn’t seem like much but it means the world to us!

The best part is when we get to celebrate their participation in the the class. Building strong kids takes encouragement and belief in themselves. Making sure they have high self esteem will help them as they get older. Remember, you want your kid to be the best in the room. Competition is part of life and we will get further as a country when we teach our children to WIN! We will be back at the Tualatin Cabela’s this Saturday. We have spots available. Come join us!! It’s been 22 years since this fateful day. A day that will always live in infamy. I will never forget where I was when the world changed forever. It’s my belief that we have a duty to ensure that we never forget those that lost their lives that day. I also believe that we have a duty to get to a point where we ALL live our lives like it was 9/12!

When you always know the condition of your rifle. You treat it like it’s loaded. You keep it pointed in a SAFE direction and you keep your finger off of the trigger. The likelihood of injury are drastically reduced to about ZERO. Rules create order. Order gives direction. Direction creates habits. This is a great example of a young boy listening to the instruction and following the steps to a T. This provides great value to society. It is really fun to watch and be a part of. We love SAFETY and it shows!!

THE BOLT ACTION RIFLE!

This action type has been around for since the 1800’s and it features a long, historical tradition. We are really excited to announce our latest addition to the line up of “work guns.” @aero_precision just sent us their latest edition of the Solus platform. It is our goal to showcase this tremendous, American made precision rifle to families. When we are able to demo and have important conversations about safety, history, and relevant applications of the bolt action rifle. It helps educate, empower, and normalize these types of conversations. We are so proud to be able to feature such a incredible piece of equipment in all of our classes. We are excited for the opportunity today to present our program to 80+ doctors and clinicians at the Portland VA. It is our goal to showcase that our version of gun safety is a viable solution for the families of veterans. Also to help bridge the gap between the VA and the veterans that they serve. Normalizing the conversation of guns and mental health will help build bridges to help reduce veteran suicide. Wish me luck! We love SAFETY, VETERANS, and it shows!!
